MOMMYHOOD

Hello. Boy mom to an almost one year old. Join me as I blindly navigate this crazy parenting ship. Currently, it consists of googling stuff seventy-six times a day.

BUSINESS

Running a business is harrrrd. Doing it with a tiny human and virtually no sleep can feel like a circus act. I wouldn’t have it any other way. But first…coffee.

BALANCE

FInding a balance working from home and caring for a baby can feel downright impossible. It doesn’t have to be! Grab my productivity and scheduling tips to stay sane and on track.

Pure. Life. Beautiful. is about creating a work-from-home life balance. Being a mom and running a business from home can feel like a rollercoaster – and that’s on a good day! I’ve worked from home as a graphic designer for almost 20 years but no amount of preparation can adequately equip you once you throw a hungry, crying, busy, sleepless bambino into the mix.

From doing my quarterly taxes in my hospital bed the day before my scheduled c-section to creating marketing promos from my preemie’s bedside at the NICU, I’ve learned a lot about managing expectations, caring for a baby, getting stuff done, and somehow still making time for myself.

I’d also love to run regular features on local and online businesses providing helpful products or services. Whether you’re a natural healer, a yoga instructor, a nutritionist, a gym owner, an artist, a florist, a life coach or anything in between, I’d love to feature you on the blog. If you’re interested in being a feature story, please don’t hesitate to contact me to discuss the best way to showcase what you have to offer.

In the meantime, I intend to share my work-life experiences, baby sleep schedules, productivity tips, business activities, and my own brand of quirky humour throughout the pages of this blog. I encourage and welcome your input, your stories, and your inspiration.

This blog is being written from Ottawa, Ontario Canada but by next winter, I’d like to be writing from a warm, tropical location [crosses fingers].
